Notice of Filing Completed Assessment Roll with the Clerk After Grievance Day
(Pursuant to Section 516 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Final Assessment Roll for the Town of Spencer, in Tioga County for the year 2024 has been completed by the undersigned Assessor. A certified copy was filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 70 East Tioga Street, Spencer, NY on 07/01/2024. It will remain there open for public inspection.

Notice has been given that the Assessor for the Town of Spencer has completed the Tentative Assessment roll for the current year(2024); and a copy has ben left with the Town Clerk at 79 East Tioga Street, Spencer, NY 14883 where it can be seen and examined by any interested person.
The Assessor will be in attendance of said roll on the following dates by phone only:
> May 11, 2024 - 8am-noon by phone only (315-391-8323)
> May 13, 2024 - 4pm-8pm by phone only
> May 24, 2024 - 8am-noon by phone only
> Wednesday May 29th, 2024 in person at the Town Hall from noon -
4pm.
On Wednesday May 24th, 2024 from 4pm-8pm, the Assessment Review Board will meet at 79 East Tioga Street Spencer, NY 14883 in Spencer to hear and examine all written filed complaints in relation to such assessments, on the Application of any such person conceiving himself/herself aggrieved.

Members of the community including teachers, administrators, mental health professionals, and members of the faith community are mental health heroes. Their mission is to support the wellbeing of our S-VE community. To do that, they have been meeting to talk about mental health and planning ways to engage others and spread awareness.
